For more than 40 years, our family-owned company has been a trusted provider of products and solutions within the K-12 and secondary education marketplace. As we continue to expand our product offerings and services, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive growth, and help shape the future direction of our business.
This is a unique opportunity for a sales leader who enjoys developing people, building strategy, and bringing innovative products to market. Working closely with company leadership, you will play a key role in both sales execution and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Establish sales objectives, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth across K-12 and higher education markets.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
- Collaborate with leadership on the development and launch of new products and services.
- Create go-to-market plans and sales strategies for emerging offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with key school administrators, educators, and institutional decision-makers.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to guide business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong background in sales management, business development, or strategic account management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that produce measurable results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Experience in education, publishing, school services, or related industries is preferred but not required.
